Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Arabic Keyboard does and does not collect, and what third parties are involved.

Last updated: 20 August 2026

The short version

The text you type into the keyboard never leaves your device. It is not uploaded, not logged, and not stored on any server. There is no account to create and no sign-in.

What we do collect is anonymous, aggregate information about how the site is used, plus whatever advertising cookies you agree to. Both are described below, and both can be declined.

What you type

The Arabic keyboard, the Arabizi converter and the character counter all run entirely in your browser as JavaScript. Nothing you type is transmitted anywhere. You can verify this by disconnecting from the internet — the tool keeps working.

Because nothing is sent, nothing is retained. Closing the tab discards your text permanently, and we have no way to recover it.

Cookies and local storage

A single entry in your browser's local storage records your cookie choice, so you are not asked again on every visit. It contains only the words “granted” or “denied” and is never sent to a server.

No analytics or advertising cookies are currently in use on this site.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit, which pages they read and roughly where in the world they are. This is aggregate data used to decide what to improve; it does not identify you personally, and IP addresses are anonymised.

Analytics storage is disabled until you accept cookies. If you decline, Google receives only cookieless, aggregated signals and no identifiers are stored on your device.

Advertising

This site is free because it carries advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time by visiting Google's Ads Settings page at adssettings.google.com, and you can opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.

Third-party vendors, including Google, may also use their own cookies to serve ads based on someone's prior visits to this website. If you decline cookies here, advertising personalisation and remarketing are switched off through Google Consent Mode, and you will still see ads — just non-personalised ones.

Your choices

You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings, which removes the stored consent choice and brings the banner back.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data held about you. Since we hold none, such a request is best directed to Google for the data collected through Analytics and AdSense.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the “last updated” date above changes with it. Material changes will also be reflected in the consent banner.
