Add Arabic keyboard on Windows

Add Arabic input to Windows in a few steps and switch layouts quickly without installing anything extra.

Method 1: Add Arabic language

Open Settings, then Time & language, then Language & region.

Choose Add a language and select Arabic.

After installing the language, use the keyboard shortcut Win + Space to switch layouts.

Method 2: Switch inputs fast

Use the language bar at the bottom right of the taskbar.

Click it and choose Arabic to activate the Arabic keyboard.

You can also press Alt + Shift or Win + Space depending on your Windows version.
